We're building a newly re-established Enterprise Architecture team, and this is your opportunity to influence how data, AI, analytics, and modern cloud technologies are adopted across a global manufacturing company. You'll be part of a small, highly visible team where your ideas will directly influence enterprise technology decisions across a global organization. This isn't a role where you'll create standards from the sidelines you'll be a hands-on Data architect, partnering with business leaders, engineering teams, and emerging technology experts to solve real business challenges and drive enterprise-wide transformation.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Data or Enterprise Architecture
- 3+ years of Snowflake experience
- Strong expertise in cloud data platforms (Azure preferred)
- Experience with Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, MDM, and Data Governance
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
Nice To Haves
- AWS experience
- AI/ML data platform experience
- Cloud or data architecture certifications
Responsibilities
- Define and drive Donaldson's enterprise data architecture
- Develop the enterprise data strategy and roadmap
- Design scalable cloud-based data architectures and platforms
- Lead Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives
- Build trusted, governed data solutions for analytics and AI
- Establish enterprise data governance, quality, and architecture standards
- Partner with business leaders to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Architect modern data solutions using Snowflake, Azure, Oracle, APIs, and streaming technologies
- Serve as a trusted advisor on enterprise data investments and strategy
