Requirements

  • 7+ years of related experience.
  • Experience with LeanIX or comparable enterprise architecture management, application portfolio management, or business capability mapping tools.
  • Extensive experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, technology strategy, or a closely related architecture leadership role.
  • Strong experience defining enterprise technology roadmaps, target-state architecture, modernization strategies, and architecture standards.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-enabled solutions, AI strategy, or practical application of AI capabilities within enterprise technology environments.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, business capability planning, application portfolio management, cloud transformation, governance, and technology modernization.
  • Ability to work across business, product, engineering, security, operations, and technology teams to align solutions with enterprise goals.
  • Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders and clearly communicate architecture vision, tradeoffs, risks, and recommendations.
  • Ability to evaluate and recommend platforms, technologies, methodologies, and architecture patterns for enterprise-wide use.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
  • Experience leading high-impact enterprise transformation, cloud, data, infrastructure, application modernization, or AI-driven initiatives.
  • Experience working in large, complex, matrixed enterprise environments with multiple lines of business and value streams.
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with practical execution, helping teams move from architecture concepts to implementation outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of architecture governance, standards, reusable patterns, and modernization best practices.
  • Experience influencing technology investment decisions and helping leaders prioritize architecture initiatives based on business value, risk, cost, and scalability.
  • Curiosity around emerging technologies and the ability to identify where innovation can improve business outcomes, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Architecture certifications or relevant technology certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead enterprise architecture strategy, target-state architecture, and transformation roadmaps that align business objectives with scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective technology solutions.
  • Partner with business executives, product organizations, engineering teams, security, operations, and technology leaders to understand business drivers and translate them into practical architecture direction.
  • Design high-level architectural blueprints across applications, data, infrastructure, cloud, AI-enabled solutions, and emerging technologies.
  • Guide technology selection, solution design, and implementation approach while ensuring alignment to enterprise architecture standards and long-term modernization goals.
  • Establish and promote architecture frameworks, governance processes, reusable patterns, standards, and practices across lines of business and value streams.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-enabled capabilities, and determine where they can create measurable business value.
  • Support strategic investment decisions by providing architecture insight, risk assessment, modernization recommendations, and executive-level guidance.
  • Serve as a senior technical advisor and mentor, helping teams solve complex architecture challenges and make sound technology decisions.
