The purpose of this position is to provide essential administrative processes to project management and discipline managers in order to assure the project meets or exceeds all technical requirements. This role performs moderately complex and diverse assignments, evaluates, selects, and applies standard administrative techniques to projects and/or departments.

Requirements

  • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and ten (10) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to fourteen (14) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
  • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
  • Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality work, and adhere to the Operating System Requirements (OSR)
  • Initiate and maintain contacts with engineering and management for staffing of projects and support positions
  • Develop Strategic Plans in line with the Office Strategic Plan and monitoring actions to achieve desired results
  • Encourage and stimulate the development of employees through training and mentorship programs
  • Assist in the development of budgets and monitor budgets for projects or department
  • Administer and maintain highly confidential and specialized information and apply an in-depth understanding of organizational policies, procedures, and operations
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Serve as a Company representative to external clients
  • Support global project and/or department initiatives
  • Engage in Fluor's global community, promoting a OneFluor mindset
  • Implement global strategy at the local level
  • Contribute to and promote the use of Fluor's knowledge management portals and communities
