About The Position

Work on Cloudflare’s edge CDN proxy services and products, focusing on customer speed improvement products, caching systems, and connectivity to customer origins. The role combines hands-on engineering with leadership of small groups of engineers to build products and operate services that make Cloudflare the fastest place in the world to serve content from.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a hands-on engineer.
• Experience operating high-performance, large-scale software systems.
• Experience leading teams of engineers to deliver projects.
• Experience working on multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.
• Detailed knowledge of HTTP and transport protocols.
• Ability to work with other teams and maintain clear lines of communication across and upward in an organization.
• Customer-focused experience building what customers need.
