Requirements

  • Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field and at least 8 years of progressive experience as a Software Engineer or related role in the Aerospace/Defense industry.
  • In the alternative, at least a master’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field and at least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer or related role in the Aerospace/Defense industry would be acceptable.
  • Must possess at least 5 years of experience with Earned Value.
  • Must possess at least 5 years of experience with Project Management.
  • Must possess at least 5 years of experience with embedded software development in C.
  • Must possess at least 5 years of experience with embedded software development in the Atlassian tool suite.
  • Non-U.S. Person – Position will not offer work immigration sponsorship and will seek export authorizations to allow the individual to work on a specific program or project.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, integrate, verify, document and Do-178C compliance of EICAS application for A220 program.
  • Perform project planning, execution and earned value management for A220 EICAS application.
  • Develop strategy for systems, projects and programs, leading the development and implementation of common methods and procedures across the organization.
  • Provide guidance on complex engineering activities and train, instruct and mentor junior employees.
  • Provide support to technical teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Perform software integration and debugging on company proprietary hardware.
  • Prepare engineering estimates for future development activities for EICAS application.
  • Lead the business in the development and advancement of process, tools and methods.
  • Create, own and approve common procedures and standard work across the organization.
  • Develop and implement new products, processes, standards or operational plans that will have impact on the achievement of functional results.
