Responsibilities include serving as a Mechanical Lead on an EPC Power Project, providing strong leadership to drive mechanical technical design and project coordination, managing project schedules and budgets, and preparing weekly reports to communicate project status, issues, and needs. The role involves preparing and maintaining resource plans, equipment inquiry/RFQ packages, and technical bid evaluations. Reviewing equipment vendor documents for compliance with project specifications and industry standards, developing job notes and technical scopes of work, and performing field walk downs are also key responsibilities. The position requires preparing man-hour estimates for proposals, attending client, vendor, and internal team meetings, and presenting technical information. The engineer will independently evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, providing specific technical expertise and training. They will also lead, coordinate, and review the work of a small staff of engineers and designers. As a Licensed Professional Engineer, the role involves sealing and signing documentation, potentially including work done by engineers under direct supervision.
