About The Position

Radia is seeking an experienced flight control systems engineer to lead the development, integration, and certification of a fly-by-wire primary flight control system for WindRunner, a Part 25 aircraft. The role covers the entire system, including flight deck controls, computing, and actuation subsystems, and involves both internal technical development and coordination with an international team of suppliers. The engineer will lead the flight control system lifecycle, including architecture, requirements, sizing, design, interface control documents, development, production, integration, testing, and certification. The role also provides supplier coordination and technical oversight, and integrates flight controls across Radia functions and external partners. The successful candidate will help develop a robust, certifiable system while seeking ways to reduce development effort and technical risk and keep the design simple. The position is based preferably in Boulder, Colorado; remote candidates may be considered depending on experience, role requirements, and ability to travel as needed.
