Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of experience, or 3 years of experience with a Master’s degree or 0 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Knowledgeable with Siemens Teamcenter PLM or equivalent.
  • Expertise with Zuken, cables and interconnects
  • Experience with special test equipment
  • Electrical engineering experience in at least one of the following fields: electrical architecture, power systems, cable design, circuit design, interface definition (internal and/or external), or power distribution.
  • Experience with Authorship and release of engineering documentation including technical drawings, specifications, and test procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Working experience with designing cables
  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes, milestone reviews, and government contracting
  • Experience maintaining and reporting status of program activities

Responsibilities

  • Working in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels.
  • Ensure appropriate coordination between electrical design and other integration teams.
  • Coordinate electrical system engineering content and work products.
  • Review engineering deliverables such as one-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, part data sheets, interconnect connect diagrams, specifications, electrical analysis and trade studies.
  • May perform research, trade studies, evaluation, and systems integration in electrical or electro-mechanical systems, cables, connectors, power systems, test equipment, and more.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to work effectively to understand system level interdependencies that impact electrical requirements and design constraints.
  • Demonstrate leadership principles – Integrity, respect, organizational, communication etc.
