Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, with a concentration in electrical or electronics engineering
  • 5 + years’ experience in an engineering environment on total vehicle or component design
  • Strong Electrical Architecture experience, including electrical load analysis, harness design, and electrical component integration
  • Project Management, experience controlling cost, schedule, and performance
  • Proficient computer knowledge and skills, including MS Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)

Responsibilities

  • Complete component level design tasks while keeping supervisor regularly informed on progress and issues encountered
  • Ensure all designs are peer reviewed by technical lead or assigned mentor
  • Support quality and Root Cause and Corrective Actions (RCCA) related activities as requested
  • Ability to understand and review AMG drawing standards
  • Expertise in harness design tools such a Creo Cad
  • Familiarity with requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies
  • Experience with C4ISR systems on military vehicles
  • Responsible for all development of technical products, joint studies of problems and solutions and programmatic recommendations
  • Responsible for ensuring the C4ISR components and systems meet the vehicle specifications requirements
  • Review work Item Packages to be implemented during post-delivery for identified and legacy deficiencies that require a Government assessment or resolution
  • Provide review of administrative package redlines for accuracy to support configuration control processes and provide comments to the Government
  • Develops presentations and technical summaries to address technical issues to support quarter program reviews and other technical meetings
  • Perform site visits to prepare for and support trials through familiarization of systems and inspection of associated C4ISR systems and equipment
  • Meeting with customers to discuss and define technical and operational requirements
  • Working with technical staff and project managers to develop solution concepts, architectures, briefings, and cost estimates
  • Applying systems engineering processes and principles to develop, analyze, design, test, and verify solutions
  • Leading design teams to develop requirements documents, technical data packages, and test plans and procedures
  • Working with manufacturing teams to integrate, test, and deliver prototype and production systems
  • Developing feasibility studies, plans, papers, and other documentation in support of decision making
  • Collaborating with support contractors, Government civilians, and members of the U.S. military
  • Support the integration of the Textron exportable power kit, vehicle‑mounted crane, and new control panel systems
  • Responsibilities include electrical panel design for common interfaces with modular add‑ons such as the Kratos enclosure, weapon systems, updated headlamp assemblies, CRDi engine harnesses, sensors, and other electrical interfaces
  • Lead the integration of the e‑brake electrical framework and emergency brake integration
