IntelliPro Group Inc.Claremont, NC
$118,000 - $153,300Onsite

About The Position

The Principal Engineer- Electrical/RF will be responsible for conceiving and developing electrical PCB designs for copper Ethernet connectors and apparatus products, with a key emphasis on RF signal integrity parameters. This role involves defining electrical architecture and design methodologies for next-generation products, acting as a technical leader within the business unit, and setting up and executing electrical simulations using ANSYS HFSS software. The engineer will conduct data analysis, document technical findings, and maintain accurate records. Collaboration with product line managers, mechanical engineers, manufacturing, and quality teams is essential for optimizing connector designs. The position requires applying sound engineering principles and following development execution procedures throughout the product development life cycle. A significant aspect of the role includes driving the design-for-manufacturing strategy, partnering with PCB vendors on material selection, tolerances, and advanced fabrication processes. Additionally, the Principal Engineer will mentor mid to senior-level electrical engineers, establish internal standards for high-speed layout and Ethernet-specific design practices, and participate in peer and design reviews to mitigate risk and foster continuous improvement.
