Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal Engineer Circuit Design /Senior Principle Engineer Circuit Design to join our team of creative and diverse engineers within the Electronics and Payloads directorate. The position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of experience, or 3 years of experience with a Master’s degree or 1 years of experience with a PhD (for Principal Engineer)
Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 8 years of experience, or 6 years of experience with a Master’s degree or 4 years of relevant experience with a PhD (for Senior Principle Engineer)
Experience designing and testing analog and power circuits
Proficiency with PSpice or Simplis/Simetrix or LTSpice and MathCAD
Knowledge of control systems and feedback theory
Ability to obtain and maintain an SSBI/SCI security clearance
U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions.

Nice To Haves

Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Control Systems or Communications and 5 years of engineering experience in an aerospace environment
Active In-Scope DoD Top Secret or SSBI/SCI clearance
Experienced in power converters/electronics development
Experienced in Earned Value Management Systems

Responsibilities

Designing, analyzing, and testing high-reliability power and control electronics
Conduct circuit design, analysis, and simulations
Perform Hardware testing and validation
Provide manufacturing test support on deliverable hardware
