About The Position

Drive the future of AI-driven research as the Principal Enablement Lead for Project MAVERIC, the University’s AI supercomputing platform. Reporting directly to the Director Emerging Technologies and Program Director of MAVERIC, this high-profile role operates with a significant degree of autonomy to bridge advanced infrastructure capability with the research community. Leading a dedicated team of up to five specialists, you will serve as the strategic engine behind researcher onboarding, experience design and customer success. You will build trusted relationships with faculties, institutes and key technology partners like NVIDIA, translating complex GPU-accelerated computing, AI/ML workloads and high-performance infrastructure into scalable, high-impact research services. In this pivotal position, you will establish a systematic Voice of Customer capability to capture community feedback, monitor GPU utilization and directly influence platform investments, security governance and technical roadmaps. As a senior liaison, you will represent enablement perspectives across governance forums, collaborate with global vendors, and guide choices surrounding HPC technologies, storage architectures and data movement solutions.

Requirements

  • Postgraduate qualifications in Science, IT, Business, or a related field.
  • Extensive leadership experience in complex research, technology or high-performance computing environments.
  • Equivalent combinations of senior management expertise and specialised technical experience will also be highly regarded.
