About The Position

Anduril’s Electronic Warfare (EW) team is seeking experienced generalist embedded software engineers to build the software ecosystem supporting a next-generation electronic warfare platform. In this role, you will develop high-performance implementations of numerical algorithms, collaborate with digital systems engineers to enable high-performance interfaces between next-generation RF hardware and software, work with DSP and RFML engineers to deploy emerging capabilities to customers, and partner with the broader software organization to integrate electronic warfare products with the Anduril Lattice system-of-systems suite. You will use state-of-the-art software construction techniques to deliver correct, mission-critical code on time.

Requirements

• 15 or more years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Experience with software-defined digital radio systems.
• Experience developing high-performance numerical algorithms.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Professional or open-source experience with typed functional programming languages such as Haskell, OCaml, or Rust.
• Experience with Linux kernel module development.
• Experience writing software that interfaces with FPGAs and GPUs.
• Experience with Nix or NixOS.

Responsibilities

• Develop hardware abstractions in collaboration with FPGA, DSP, and firmware engineers.
• Design tooling to rapidly deploy advanced DSP and RFML models for detecting and defeating emerging threats.
• Implement high-performance numerical algorithms for RF data generation, analysis, and manipulation.
• Develop correct, high-reliability electronic warfare software that integrates with the Anduril Lattice ecosystem.
• Use infrastructure for deterministic builds and configuration management to support deployment, ensure software traceability, and minimize product maintenance burden.
