About The Position

As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will serve as a technical leader responsible for the design, optimization, and reliability of instrumentation, control systems, and electrical systems. You will provide strategic direction, advanced engineering expertise, and leadership in improving plant performance, safety, and operational efficiency. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, blending remote flexibility with regular on-site collaboration at either our Cranberry Township, PA office or Rock Hill, SC office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 10 or more years of relevant experience
  • Expertise in instrumentation, controls, and power systems
  • Engineering design and analysis experience
  • Experience with Mathcad, Matlab, PSpice

Responsibilities

  • Be a SME for instrumentation, control systems, electrical systems, and automation architecture
  • Engineering design for nuclear products and projects including electrical system design, instrumentation and controls designs, and system wiring
  • Use software packages such as Mathcad, Matlab, PSPice or equivalent.
  • Lead development of advanced control and electrical system strategies.
  • Work with internal groups on similar engineering levels to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments
  • Plan and schedule work to meet assignment requirements.
  • Use appropriate standards, techniques, procedures and criteria for development of engineering design documents including calculations and specifications.
  • Mentor junior engineers across instrumentation, controls, and electrical disciplines
  • Ensure compliance with safety, electrical codes, and regulatory requirements
