Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer. This position is located in Roy, UT. The Flight Systems Futures team executes the design and development, procurement/manufacturing, and integration & test of novel flight systems across a broad spectrum of applications.

Requirements

  • 5 Years experience with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Year with PhD
  • Must have an active or current Secret clearance at time of application
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.
  • Must have electrical design experience for hypersonic systems, flight systems, missiles, etc.
  • Must have experience with the following: Functional block diagram, Visio preferred
  • Schematic capture, Altium preferred
  • PSPICE electrical simulation
  • Electrical requirements development, assisting system engineer
  • Electrical analysis for compliance with requirements
  • Electrical interface control document generation
  • Electrical system architecture design, including grounding, power distribution, communication busses and discrete signaling
