ECU Lifecycle Ownership: Drive the EE development for next-generation platform ECUs from initial concept through mass production. Optimization & Efficiency: Lead initiatives to drive BOM cost down, improve hardware reliability/quality, and accelerate time-to-market through streamlined design cycles.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 20+ years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering and hardware validation.
  • Extensive experience in safety-critical or highly regulated industries, with a proven track record of delivering production-grade electronics.
  • Expert-level proficiency in reading and interpreting complex EE schematics and designing for high-performance computing platforms.
  • Deep understanding of IPC-A-610/620 quality levels and experience validating supplier manufacturing processes on-site.
  • Demonstrated success in "greenfield" product development—taking an idea from a blank sheet to a fully operational, high-volume hardware platform.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience with automotive-grade electronics, high-voltage DC systems, and complex wiring harness architectures.
  • Proven ability to document and execute significant cost-avoidance strategies through board-level repairs and design optimizations.

Responsibilities

  • Own the EE development process, establishing best practices for schematic capture, PCB layout, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
  • Manage interfaces with a large matrix of key stakeholders, to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Leverage and direct both internal engineering talent and external Tier 1/2 partners to execute complex hardware roadmaps.
  • Provide expert-level review of EE schematics and data sheets for high-performance SoCs, MCUs, and FPGAs.
  • Partner with the Lab and Test teams to define ATE and HIL testing requirements that validate hardware stability across the full product lifecycle.
