Who we want… Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution Professional Engineering License is required. 7–10 years of professional experience in electrical design engineering, with a strong background in Gray’s core markets. Proven expertise in electrical systems design, including lighting, power distribution, grounding, lightning protection, telecommunications, and security systems. In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and standards, including NEC, NFPA, IBC, and client-specific requirements. Advanced proficiency in Bluebeam, Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination workflows, with experience leading model integration and clash detection. Advanced proficiency with electrical design tools (e.g., SKM Power Tools, ETAP, or similar). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills for system analysis, cost modeling, and performance optimization. Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead client discussions, present technical concepts, and coordinate across disciplines. Demonstrated ability to manage project deliverables, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to strategic planning and quality assurance. Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement and professional development. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
