The Principal, Digital Transformation Lead is responsible for driving disciplined intake, reconciliation, and prioritization, translating business ideas into secure, compliant, and scalable solutions; enabling consistent delivery and sustained value at Fujifilm Biotechnologies, Texas. The Lead will bring over 8 years of experience, preferably in a CDMO environment, and with experience in Digitization, Improvement methodologies, and process management in a regulated environment. Requirements

  • Ability to foster strategic relationships.
  • Familiarity with modern data and AI tools and how they move from experiment to production.
  • Understanding of AI risk, privacy, and documentation needs in regulated settings.

  • Demonstrated delivery of projects, risk management and cultivating a collaborative problem-solving culture.
  • Demonstrated project and process delivery skills, including the ability to provide accurate project planning, milestone delivery, project management, and effective status updates.
  • Tech-Savvy, proficiency with key coding languages such as Python and Java.
  • Strong communication (written and oral) and presentation skills, effectively engaging, facilitating, with the ability to influence and collaborate with others.
  • Focused on operational income, productivity, efficiency, simplification, right first time in project delivery.
  • Ability to influence across the organization without formal authority.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects, perform complex tasks, organize and complete workload consistently.
  • Ability to identify, recommend and implement opportunities for streamlining team and business processes to reduce costs and improve efficiencies.
  • Master’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; OR, Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience managing continuous improvement initiatives in a cGMP facility or highly regulated environment.
  • Experience in technology and product delivery in a CDMO environment.
  • Experience working in a biologics or gene therapy manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a portfolio of digitization and AI projects that are secure, compliant, and scalable in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Facilitate engagement, Tech/AI discovery workshops; document problem, users, and outcomes; inventory data sources; identify overlaps; tag risk and compliance needs.
  • Partner with idea owner to firm-up opportunity briefs, process maps, KPI trees (leading/lagging), cost/benefit, assess system/data readiness and pre-screens, etc.
  • Collaborate with core team to prepare gate packages, assess value drivers, target architecture options, recommend prioritization based on impact, capacity, and strategic alignment.
  • Write/refine user stories and acceptance criteria; coordinate SMEs; plan UAT (scripts, functional), support bias/robustness/security test readiness; ensure change/comms inputs.
  • Orchestrate handover to Product Owners, ensure dashboards / alerts; collect user feedback, maintain the data / product repository – backlog, upgrades, etc., and lessons learned.
  • Partner with Global IT on policies, model / data documentation, and audit trails; partner with Privacy/Legal/Information Security as needed, promote / embed OPEX continuous improvement mindset.
  • Mentor select members on vibe coding practices; contribute to SOPs, templates, and pre‑approved patterns; run micro‑trainings on intake and value tracking.
