We’re seeking a Principal Demand Generation Manager who is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on executor — a jack-of-all-trades marketer with a required blend of demand generation and field marketing experience. This individual will design and lead integrated marketing programs spanning webinars, executive dinners, regional events, and targeted email campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline growth. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Demand Generation, the ideal candidate is a highly organized, collaborative project leader who can align multiple stakeholders and deliver measurable business results. Arena, a PTC business, helps innovative product companies bring complex products to market faster with cloud-based Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Quality Management System (QMS) software. Thousands of high-tech, medical devices, and consumer electronics companies rely on Arena to connect teams, processes, and product data across the entire product lifecycle. Requirements

  • 6–10 years of B2B marketing experience with a required mix of demand generation and field marketing.
  • Proven ability to lead integrated campaigns that drive measurable pipeline and revenue impact.
  • Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills are required.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation and CRM systems (Marketo and Salesforce preferred).
  • Analytical mindset with experience tracking and optimizing performance metrics.
  • Collaborative and proactive working style; comfortable navigating a large corporate environment while maintaining a nimble, entrepreneurial approach.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel demand programs — including webinars, executive dinners, regional networking events, and tradeshows.
  • Lead end-to-end project management — managing timelines, budgets, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment for flawless execution.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product marketing, and corporate teams to align strategy, messaging, and audience targeting.
  • Oversee event logistics including venue selection, vendor coordination, invitations, registration, and on-site management.
  • Develop and execute nurture and email campaigns that move prospects through the buyer journey.
  • Measure, analyze, and report performance to demonstrate ROI and drive continuous improvement.
  • Operate with agility and accountability, executing with the speed of a startup while leveraging the resources of a global enterprise.
  • Travel approximately 10–15% of the time to support regional events and team meetings.
