Principal Data Scientist (Navy Federal Institute)
About The Position
Be the deputy leader for the new Navy Federal Institute. Provide data science, machine learning, and analytical insights using member data to identify and understand consumer and macroeconomic trends. The goal is to create and maintain a monthly Navy Federal consumer tracker and then do deep dive analyses every 4 to 8 weeks on a special topic (e.g. housing, military, tax refunds, etc.). Regarded as an advanced professional in the data science field. Conduct complex work under minimal supervision and with wide latitude for independent judgment. Work collaboratively with business units across Navy Federal and mentor more junior staff as the Institute grows.
Requirements
