About The Position

Our Data Center Mission Critical Group is seeking Principal Data Center MEP Engineers to join the team. Join us for a fulfilling engineering role where you'll create precise documents aligned with industry standards and regulations. Your work will support client needs while maintaining strong relationships and ensuring project success. This position can be located in the following locations: Emeryville, CA, Charlotte, NC, Houston, TX, Reston, VA, Dallas, TX, Naperville, IL, Ohio, Oregon, Remote from the US, or Any ENERCON office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
  • Typically requires 6 years of experience in a design engineering role in hyperscale data center design
  • Typically requires 15 years of total design experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including, but not limited to, Word and Excel
  • Minimum basic level of proficiency in CAD software
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
  • Ability to be a lead responsible engineer for a project involving multi-discipline work
  • Must be able to climb ladders and/or stairs at client sites
  • Ability to travel between 15-25% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • PE – Professional Engineer preferred
  • ETABS software experience strongly preferred
