About The Position

This is a rare founding hire opportunity to build an AI security services practice across North America from the ground up. You will have the independence of a startup, backed by the resources and brand of a major global security organization. The AI security platform is a category leader, and the Fortune 500 customer base is already established. This role is crucial for turning that into a successful services motion. You will act as the liaison between customers, engineers, and sales teams, ensuring long-term customer success, validating the technology in high-stakes environments, and shaping the future of the North America practice. You will operate with founder-like autonomy, supported by a large enterprise, with a clear path to lead the practice as it grows.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in a senior post-sales technical role (customer engineering, solutions architecture, professional services, or security consulting at a principal level).
  • Deep, credible knowledge of AI and ML security, including adversarial attacks, prompt injection, data poisoning, model inversion, supply-chain risk, and the threat landscape for LLMs and agentic systems.
  • Proven track record of owning enterprise customer relationships and outcomes from initial deployment through expansion.
  • Comfortable operating across the full sales cycle, maintaining technical credibility with both CISOs and security engineers.
  • Demonstrated delivery leadership, including scoping, leading, and closing complex technical engagements with enterprise clients.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: energized by building from a blank page and comfortable creating processes as you go.
  • Commercial acumen: understanding of deal mechanics, pipeline, and sales objectives.
  • Curiosity: a genuine interest in emerging technology and personal experience building with AI systems.
  • Owner's instinct: accountability for the long-term success of initiatives.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience securing LLM deployments in enterprise environments (RAG architectures, agentic frameworks, fine-tuning, and their security considerations).
  • Background in offensive security, red teaming, or adversarial ML research.
  • Familiarity with AI governance and compliance frameworks (NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, ISO 42001, SOC 2).
  • Domain depth in a regulated vertical (financial services, healthcare, defense, or critical infrastructure).
  • Public presence (speaking, writing, research, or a recognized reputation in AI security).
  • Experience establishing a practice, service line, or methodology from inception.

Responsibilities

  • Own the long-term success of enterprise customers post-go-live, focusing on adoption, expansion, renewal, and measurable risk reduction.
  • Lead the delivery of AI security engagements, including threat modeling, guardrail design, red-team exercises, control frameworks, and implementation advisory.
  • Embed with customer security and engineering teams to translate AI risk exposure into tangible, defensible outcomes.
  • Develop clear, executive-ready narratives from delivery findings to drive decision-making.
  • Serve as the senior technical voice in enterprise sales cycles, presenting and defending the platform and services to CISOs, security architects, and engineering leaders.
  • Lead discovery processes to identify real risk exposure and build compelling cases for the platform and associated services.
  • Collaborate with sales on scoping, solution design, and proposals for complex Fortune 500 deals.
  • Contribute to shaping the strategy, roadmap, and success of the AI security offering in North America.
  • Define repeatable delivery methodologies and provide field-based feedback to product development.
  • Lay the groundwork for the North America team and grow into a leadership role as the function scales.
