About The Position

This role is a senior, customer-facing technical position focused on ensuring that clients derive maximum value from complex software platforms. You will work closely with customer teams to implement and optimize solutions, provide hands-on guidance, and drive product adoption. The position involves technical enablement, strategic advisory, and monitoring customer health to ensure successful deployments and business outcomes. Operating in a remote-friendly environment, you will collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer success teams to translate feedback into improvements. The role requires deep expertise in modern DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code, and Internal Developer Platforms, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Success in this position is measured by customer adoption, retention, and the quality of technical guidance delivered.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of senior-level experience in DevOps, SRE, or related engineering roles.
  • Strong technical expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Terragrunt, CDK) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes, Helm, Kustomize, CI/CD workflows, and Internal Developer Platforms.
  • Proficiency in automation and scripting using Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Familiarity with security and governance frameworks, including tools like HashiCorp Vault or OPA/Gatekeeper.
  • Experience in customer-facing technical roles, including solutions architecture or professional services.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience; relevant certifications (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical onboarding and enablement programs, ensuring customers are equipped to leverage platform capabilities effectively.
  • Serve as a strategic technical advisor, aligning platform solutions with customer business objectives and guiding infrastructure improvements.
  • Conduct Business Value Reviews to demonstrate ROI, track adoption metrics, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Monitor customer health and usage metrics, performing churn analysis and addressing technical pain points proactively.
  • Deliver hands-on support for Infrastructure-as-Code implementations and assist customers in managing cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
  • Guide the design and optimization of Internal Developer Platforms, including Kubernetes orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and developer self-service workflows.
  • Support adoption of emerging technologies such as Cloud Cost Management, Software Engineering Intelligence, and Customer Engineering solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to communicate customer feedback, influence product roadmaps, and troubleshoot complex technical challenges.
