About The Position

The Capital Markets Company seeks a Principal Consultant in New York, NY to utilize expert knowledge in wealth management, including but not limited to financial planning, goals-based planning, investment management, products, practice management, operations, technology, and overall market trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Systems Engineering or a related field and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• Working in financial services or a professional consulting firm.
• Engaging with clients to identify and analyze strategic issues, and developing hypotheses and frameworks for industry problems including cost optimization, market penetration, organic growth, and M&A.
• Master’s degree in Information Systems, Systems Engineering or a related field and six (6) years of experience in the skills listed above.

Responsibilities

• Utilize expert knowledge in wealth management, including but not limited to financial planning, goals-based planning, investment management, products, practice management, operations, technology and overall market trends.
• Engage with clients to identify and analyze strategic issues.
• Develop hypotheses and frameworks for industry problems including cost optimization, market penetration, organic growth, and M&A.
