We are seeking a seasoned COMSEC professional to provide on‑site management for a high‑visibility COMSEC team supporting multiple classified mission areas in El Segundo. This role is critical in maintaining continuity, oversight, and compliance across collateral, SCI, and SAP COMSEC environments. The successful candidate will work closely with program offices, government customers, and RTX cross‑functional partners to ensure secure, efficient, and compliant operations.

Requirements

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Experience managing COMSEC material including receipt, custody, safeguarding, and destruction.
  • Experience training COMSEC users and accountants.
  • Experience with End Cryptographic Unit (ECU) management and load/fill procedures.
  • Experience working with NSA CSSM 3‑16 or related COMSEC doctrine.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • DoD Clearance: TS/SCI
  • Active and existing security clearance required on day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Previous NSA COMSEC certification
  • Experience in SAP and SCI environments.
  • Experience with COMSEC Accounting, Reporting & Distribution System (DIAS).
  • Experience troubleshooting COMSEC equipment.
  • Experience managing Windows‑based information systems.
  • Knowledge of legacy COMSEC equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily COMSEC account management and operational oversight for Collateral, SCI, and SAP mission areas.
  • Prepare, load, and maintain In‑Line Network Encryptors (INEs) and secure voice products.
  • Order, receive, safeguard, and maintain COMSEC equipment, keys, and associated material.
  • Track supersession dates, manage fill devices, and conduct required software upgrades.
  • Submit accurate and timely accounting reports to NSA COR or the appropriate assigned COR.
  • Conduct regular inventories, compliance validations, incident reporting, and investigations.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional Raytheon/RTX teams and support local travel requirements.
  • Train COMSEC users, accountants, and program personnel on proper COMSEC procedures and best practices.
  • Pay high attention to detail, and use strong time management, organizational skills, and follow‑through.
  • Perform regular moderate lifting (25–40 lbs)
