Principal Cloud Architect
About The Position
Partners with customers, sales, engineering, and product teams to design, demonstrate, and deploy Oracle Cloud architectures that address customer business problems. Drives Oracle Cloud customer consumption by accelerating adoption of Oracle Cloud services through discovery, design, and deployment. The role works with strategic customers, translates business needs into technical solutions, and may implement solutions through code development and scripting. It supports customers from proof of concept through production deployment and contributes technical assets, customer success, and engineering roadmap input. The work is non-routine and very complex, requires advanced technical and business skills, may involve interaction with C-level executives, and includes staying current on emerging technologies. Experience with enterprise clients in Retail, Hospitality, Energy, Utilities, and similar industries is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Engage strategic customers and build leadership relationships at multiple organizational levels to design and implement solutions.
- Work directly with customers to gather requirements, develop architectures, and translate business needs into solutions.
- Implement solutions when needed and help ensure successful deployments through code development and scripting.
- Demonstrate product and application understanding through customized presentations to customers and at conferences and events.
- Support customers from proof of concept through production deployment through resource configuration, planning, and customer education and training.
- Create and distribute technical assets, including white papers, solution code, blog posts, and video demonstrations.
- Serve as a leading technical contributor for customers and sales on cloud solutions and customer success.
- Identify gaps and enhancements and influence engineering roadmaps for customer-driven features.
- Provide direction and mentoring to others as a leading contributor.
- Maintain expertise by staying current on emerging technologies.
