About The Position
An industry-leading engineering firm specializing in civil engineering, surveying, and land use planning is seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to be a key leader in their organization, responsible for overseeing the design and management of residential, commercial, and public development projects either at their Woodinville, WA or Kent, WA location.
Requirements
- BS in Civil Engineering (MS preferred).
- 15+ years of engineering and management experience in land development.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License (multi-state preferred).
- Strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and proficiency in Civil 3D.
- Experience with permitting strategies and land use codes.
Responsibilities
- Leading a team of engineers and project managers.
- Overseeing design, permitting, and compliance for various development projects.
- Managing project schedules, budgets, and client relations.
- Preparing technical reports, contracts, and cost estimates.
- Developing new business opportunities and fostering client relationships.
