About The Position

The Principal Business Systems Analyst, Oracle Financials will serve as the functional owner and strategic leader for the company’s Oracle EBS Financials, Hyperion Planning EPM, and related enterprise financial integrations. This role is accountable for the performance, governance, data integrity, controls, enhancement roadmap, and business-side execution of key financial systems initiatives. The position partners closely with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, IT, and executive stakeholders to ensure financial systems are accurate, scalable, controlled, and aligned with corporate objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Oracle EBS R12 (Financials-focused Business Analyst or techno-functional role).
  • Experience in highly regulated and SOX-controlled environments
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Strong understanding of financial processes: GL, AP, AR, FA, Tax, Cash Management, Project Accounting, and financial close in a multi-currency, multi-jurisdictional environment
  • Proven experience with Hyperion Planning / Oracle EPM (planning models, data integrations, forecasting processes)
  • Hands-on experience with ERP-to-EPM data integration (GL extracts, metadata, data validation flows)
  • Experience supporting or leading Oracle R12 upgrade initiatives
  • Experience supporting multi-entity, multi-currency, or global ERP implementations, integrations, or subsidiary onboarding initiatives
  • Working knowledge of enterprise integrations (ADP, banking, reporting systems, etc.)
  • Strong SQL/data analysis capability to validate and troubleshoot financial data flows
  • Demonstrated project management experience delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Ability and willingness to travel, both domestically and internationally, as needed
  • U.S. Citizenship or Green Card Holder Required.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of integration frameworks and concepts, including ODI, SOA, REST APIs, ETL pipelines, and financial data validation controls.
  • Experience with financial reporting tools (e.g., Spreadsheet Server, BI solutions)
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between Finance, Accounting, FP&A, and IT for all Oracle EBS, Hyperion Planning, and finance-related SaaS platform initiatives.
  • Own end-to-end financial data flows across ERP, EPM, and external systems ensuring integrity, reconciliation, and auditability.
  • Own the functional roadmap, support model, optimization, and continuous improvement of Oracle EBS R12 Financials, including GL, AP, AR, FA, Tax, Cash Management, and Projects.
  • Partner with Finance leadership to enhance forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning capabilities.
  • Lead design, enhancement, and support of Hyperion Planning / EPM solutions including workforce and financial planning models.
  • Manage integration between Oracle EBS and Hyperion (GL, AR, HR/Payroll feeds, and metadata structures).
  • Ensure alignment between actuals (ERP) and plan/forecast (EPM) with automated, controlled data pipelines.
  • Lead business-side execution of Oracle R12 upgrade initiatives (e.g., 12.1 → 12.2), including requirements, testing, and change management.
  • Drive CEMLI remediation prioritization, functional validation, and user acceptance testing.
  • Partner with technical teams on integration validation, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Lead the finance workstream for transitioning current and future subsidiaries, including acquisitions, from legacy ERP, accounting, and financial reporting platforms to Oracle EBS, including process alignment, data conversion, control validation, reconciliation, testing, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Design and oversee integrations between Oracle EBS and external systems (e.g., ADP payroll, banking, reporting platforms).
  • Define data transformation, validation, and reconciliation rules across systems.
  • Collaborate with integration teams leveraging tools such as ODI, SOA, REST APIs, or custom ETL pipelines consistent with the company’s integration architecture.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives with clear ownership of scope, timeline, budget, and risk management.
  • Develop and maintain executive-level reporting on project status, system performance, and risks.
  • Drive governance across Finance IT initiatives, aligning priorities with corporate financial objectives.
  • Ensure strong SOX/ITGC alignment across financial systems and integrations.
  • Define controls for data accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness.
  • Partner with Finance to establish and maintain reconciliation, variance analysis, and reporting transparency processes across Oracle EBS, EPM, and integrated financial systems.
