Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as an Oracle EBS Finance Functional Analyst
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Project Accounting (Costing, Billing, Contracts, Assets)
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes
  • Ability to write functional specifications and work closely with technical developers
  • Experience with Oracle R12 (12.1.x or 12.2.x)
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to demonstrate results improving processes and/ or systems to create positive business results
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with Business stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Oracle Workflow, AME, and public APIs
  • Knowledge of integrations with third-party systems
  • Familiarity with SQL for data validation
  • Experience in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
  • Cross functional business process experience

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, and Project Management teams to understand business needs and translate them into functional requirements.
  • Support and improve Oracle EBS R12 Finance modules and processes, including: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), Project Accounting (PA).
  • Lead configuration, testing, and deployment of enhancements, patches, and new functionality.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate fixes with technical teams.
  • Develop functional design documents (MD50), test scripts, and user training materials.
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX, audit requirements, and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integrations and data flows.
  • Assist in planning and executing upgrades, migrations, and process improvements.
