About The Position

GliaCell is seeking a Principal AI/ML Engineer to join one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position supporting a U.S. Government customer. The mission involves providing technical expertise to sustain critical mission-related software and systems for a large government contract. GliaCell Technologies focuses on Software & System Engineering in Enterprise and Cyber Security solution spaces, excelling at delivering stable and reliable software solutions using Agile Software Development principles. Their Enterprise capabilities include Full-Stack Application Development, Big Data, Cloud Technologies, Analytics, Machine Learning, AI, and DevOps Containerization. They also provide customer solutions in CND, CNE, and CNO, including assessments and solutions in Threat Mitigation, Vulnerability Exposure, Penetration Testing, Threat Hunting, and Preventing Advanced Persistent Threats.

Requirements

Active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is REQUIRED.
U.S. Citizenship
10+ years experience in applied machine learning in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Master's or Ph.D. degree in advanced math, artificial intelligence, data science, computer science or deep learning from an accredited college or university.
7 additional years of machine learning experience with a relevant Bachelor's degree may be substituted for a Master's degree.
Demonstrated abilities in software engineering and AI/ML model test and evaluation.
Works well independently as well as on a team.
Strong communication skills.
Familiarity with foundational concepts of application development, infrastructure management, data engineering, and data governance.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Expert knowledge of multiple programming languages, e.g. Python, Java, C, R, a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, create, test, and productize AI/ML algorithms to solve business challenges.
Develop AI/ML models capable of learning and making predictions as defined by business logic to meet customer requirements.
Be proficient in all aspects of model architecture, data pipeline interaction, and metrics application, interpretation, and presentation.
Understand training, retraining, deploying, scheduling, monitoring, and improving models through iterative user and system feedback.
Design and create scalable solutions for optimal performance.
Lead geographically diverse teams.
Serve as a primary POC for AI-related matters.
