About The Position

Intel is seeking a well-known industry figure to lead and shape our manageability standards engagement strategy for Intel's data center business. In this high-impact role, you will serve as the primary technical liaison to industry standards bodies, ensuring Intel is at the forefront of defining and adopting next-generation compute and storage infrastructure standards. You will help guide our strategic direction by engaging in standards development activities, synthesizing ecosystem trends, and aligning internal engineering efforts with industry evolution. You will also be responsible to lead Intel's standards-based manageability strategy, translating between internal product requirements / roadmaps with standards and specifications, working broadly with customers and partners to advance both the state of the industry, as well as Intel's roadmaps and implementations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, and 12+ years of experience in system software architecture, OR Master's degree in a relevant field with 8+ years of experience, OR PhD in a relevant field with 6+ years of experience.
  • Proven expertise in system software architecture, including firmware, frameworks, drivers, and protocols.
  • Demonstrated experience within industry standards communities, preferably in leadership roles.
  • Working knowledge of customer, market, and ecosystem requirements, with a track record of engaging with industry stakeholders.
