About The Position

The OCI Speech Science team is dedicated to advancing AI-powered speech technologies, including state-of-the-art Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Text-To-Speech (TTS), Speech-To-Speech (S2S) translation, and conversational AI solutions. Our mission is to deliver robust, secure, and scalable speech and language services tailored to enterprise use cases worldwide. As an applied scientist of the OCI Generative AI Science team, you will collaborate with fellow scientists, engineers, and product managers to research, develop, and deploy world-class speech and language technologies on OCI. You will have the opportunity to contribute your expertise in building and optimizing models and services that enhance the customer experience while maintaining the highest levels of data security and privacy. We are looking for an innovative and driven applied scientist to help advance the areas of ASR, TTS, S2S translation, and conversational AI. In this role, as a Principal Applied Scientist, you will work on the full lifecycle of speech and language AI services – from model design to production deployment – supporting OCI’s broad range of enterprise customers. Requirements

Expertise in building and optimizing models and services for speech and language AI.
Experience with Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Text-To-Speech (TTS), Speech-To-Speech (S2S) translation, and conversational AI solutions.
