About The Position

Trinity is seeking a Principal to join our growing Analytics organization with a focus on delivering data and AI-enabled analytics solutions. This role blends strong client leadership, analytics execution, and practical application of AI (including GenAI and LLM-based approaches) across commercial use cases. Trinity is a 1400-person, global organization that partners with ~350 life sciences companies annually. At the highest level, we provide Strategy, Insights, and Analytics support. Within Analytics, we have well-established SME verticals (e.g., forecasting, sales analytics, commercial data solutions, data science, AI/ML). Trinity is investing in expanding our Analytics Strategy team, a seller-doer group that owns client relationships and overall account delivery. Principals are accountable leaders responsible for commercial growth, delivery excellence, and talent development, while helping scale Trinity’s AI-enabled analytics capabilities. This is a unique opportunity to join an established firm and work in an entrepreneurial environment, building and scaling a fast-growing team within a core strategic priority area for Trinity. We are looking for experienced analytics talent with a proven ability to: Sell, manage, and deliver a book of business Act as thought leaders in technology solutions and/or integrated analytics that address specific commercial pharma/biotech needs (e.g., customer engagement, forecasting, insights democratization) Build strong teams, collaborate cross-functionally, and contribute to internal development and growth of innovative capabilities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years as a top performer within a top-tier biopharmaceutical / pharmaceutical strategy consulting firm serving industry leading clients and/or relevant experience with advanced analytics, omnichannel measurement, marketing analytics, and/or technology-enabled solutions within pharma and biotech.
  • Working knowledge of advanced consulting methodologies, tools, and techniques – with focus on: leveraging AI, LLMs, and life sciences real-world data, for purposes such as patient finding, HCP segmentation, and other applications of advanced analytics, optimization of omnichannel plans, marketing mix, performance analytics and reporting related activities
  • Excellent analytical skills and numeric capability.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High attention to detail with superior organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong team player, ability to work with cross-functional staff.
  • Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines and manage multiple projects and priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree a plus) with high academic achievement.
  • Major in health sciences, marketing, digital communications, and demonstrated interest in life sciences preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the analytics management level contact to lead discussions, oversees all presentations, product/tech deployment and ensures thorough project implementations and quality deliveries with client executives (e.g. CxO, SVP, VP, Director).
  • Is viewed by the client as Trinity’s Analytics expert resource and demonstrates external thought-partner relationship development capability.
  • Develops and grows business through lead and revenue generation, expansion of team and furthering team capabilities.
  • Sources additional business by effectively managing existing accounts/clients.
  • Identifies new opportunities with clients, fields RFPs and develops first-pass proposals, primarily opportunities across analytics capabilities (e.g., forecasting, sales analytics, commercial data solutions, data science, AI/ML) and also as part of broader Trinity commercialization responses
  • Mobilizes Trinity’s analytics capabilities to extend to current clients and their relevant counterparts within related functional groups (marketing, market planning, sales, operations, medical, medical affairs, analytics, insights and forecasting).
  • Defines scope for client engagements clearly from the outset of SOW development to meet client business needs while limiting uncertainty on the planned methods and anticipated deliverables.
  • Meets revenue goals individually and through managing project team revenues.
  • Proactively engages staff in business development opportunities as appropriate to assist with and facilitate their growth.
  • Oversee project outputs and provide guidance to drive strategically sound and actionable recommendations & answers to client business questions – supporting discussions, participating in presentations, developing content where necessary.
  • Translate client business questions into practical, analytics and AI‑driven approaches across forecasting, sales analytics, omnichannel measurement, and data science.
  • Set the strategic direction for project activities guiding managers and project team on execution and resource allocation.
  • Serve as an exemplary role model for producing quality results, ensuring high work ethics, and professionalism.
  • Provide thought leadership in Analytics strategy in both client- and non-client-related activities (e.g., external conferences, white paper development).
  • Support senior management internally as an innovative thought-leader with self-initiative and commitment to the Analytics function.
  • Drive internal and external initiatives that further the firm’s status and capabilities.
  • Serve as the Analytics subject-matter expert on multiple therapeutic and/or practice areas, both internally and externally.
  • Oversee budgets, exceed revenue goals and maintain expenses to ensure appropriate pricing and budget control.
  • Support the internal growth of Trinity’s Analytics organization, both from a business and talent perspective.
  • Take ownership of team building, coaching, mentorship, and professional development of staff.
