About The Position

Leidos has a new and exciting opportunity for a Principal Software Engineer / Analytic Developer in our Intel Sector. Our talented team is at the forefront in Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations (CNO), Mission Software, Analytical Methods and Modeling, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Cryptographic Key Management. Our LOE program provides our customer's Operations organization with the best possible solutions for their mission needs. We achieve this through rapid prototyping, new development, and advanced technology research. Leidos is seeking a motivated, experienced Software Engineer/Analytic Developer to support the exciting Technology Application & Integration mission. The engineer will work closely with mission stakeholders to capture requirements and create innovative analytics and deploy solutions to customer supported tools to automate and enable data and metadata analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 11 or more years of relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with object-oriented languages (JAVA, Python, C++) and experience with Jupyter Notebooks, GHOSTMACHINE, and Query Time Analytics.
  • Proficient with Elasticsearch and Elasticsearch clusters.
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of AWS, customer corporate tools and data repositories

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with customers to develop analytics based off artifacts, enrich data with various corporate sources, summarize data, and formulate results for downstream analytics and queries.
  • Creatively leverage disparate data to fill knowledge gaps in user activities, collection efforts, and technology discovery.
