About The Position

GliaCell is seeking a Principal Analytic Software Engineer to support a U.S. Government customer on one of their subcontracts. This full-time position involves providing technical expertise to sustain critical mission-related software and systems for a large government contract. As a hybrid Analyst/Developer, you will use your experience in LLMs and AI-Integrated Python pipelines to drive mission-critical initiatives. You will be involved in all aspects of the development lifecycle of new tools and plugins, from conceptualization to deployment. Your primary focus will be architecting agentic Python automations, conducting vulnerability research, and analyzing complex technical data. Additionally, you will be responsible for innovating and documenting new tradecraft and managing strategic customer outreach.

Requirements

  • Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance. (This position requires in-scope poly, within 7 years).
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • 12+ years Software Engineering experience and a BS degree in Computer Science or related. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Works well independently as well as on a team.
  • Strong communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Deep experience leveraging LLM’s to solve complex problems, including expertise in prompt engineering and model optimization.
  • Proven ability to integrate AI into automated pipelines and production workflows using API’s and orchestration tools.
  • Strong Python experience.
  • Data parsing/manipulation.
  • Networking knowledge and protocols.
  • Experience with open source research.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems.
  • Familiarity with Git.
  • Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence).
  • Experience with production CNO capabilities and operations.

  • Design and deploy agentic AI workflows that leverage autonomous planning and tool-use to streamline internal operations and improve system efficiency.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated workflows using Python.
  • Conduct vulnerability analysis.
  • Develop and document tradecraft.
  • Execute on customer requests.
  • Perform customer outreach.
