About The Position

Zoom is developing advanced AI-driven products to solidify its position as a leading AI-powered communication and collaboration platform. By integrating cutting-edge AI with Zoom’s trusted enterprise infrastructure and extensive user base, it aims to create intelligent tools that enhance communication, coordination, and productivity. The Zoom AI Agent team is responsible for turning frontier AI, agent, automation, and multimodal technologies into real product experiences used by millions of people. The team focuses on building top-notch agentic products that bridge cutting-edge AI technologies with Zoom’s large user base and enterprise collaboration platform. We aim to create trusted AI collaborators that help users communicate, coordinate, automate work, and execute processes across Zoom and third-party tools.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of product management experience, including experience with AI, platform, developer, productivity, collaboration, automation, or enterprise products.
  • Demonstrate track record building 0-to-1 products and scaling them into high-impact offerings.
  • Need technical understanding of AI agent systems, including LLMs, reasoning, planning, tool calling, RAG, memory, agent orchestration, evaluation, observability, and safety.
  • Possess experience working with AI/ML, research, infrastructure, or platform teams to bring emerging technologies into production.
  • Have product judgment for agentic user experiences, including when agents should act autonomously, ask for confirmation, or escalate to users.
  • Demonstrate understanding of knowledge workers and enterprise customers by transforming intricate workflows into clear, reusable product patterns.
  • Have analytical thinking and ability to define metrics, run experiments, and make trade-offs across user value, reliability, cost, latency, and risk.

Responsibilities

  • Defining the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and success metrics for Zoom Agents.
  • Tracking AI agent market trends and competitive dynamics to keep Zoom at the forefront of agentic AI.
  • Leading 0-to-1 development of new agentic experiences across Zoom Workplace, Zoom AI, and enterprise workflows.
  • Translating frontier AI capabilities (e.g., reasoning, planning, tool use, memory, multimodal understanding, agent orchestration) into practical product experiences.
  • Identifying high-value user and enterprise workflows where agents can create step-function productivity gains.
  • Partnering with AI research, ML engineering, platform engineering, and product engineering to define agent architecture, tool integrations, memory, evaluation, observability, and reliability requirements.
  • Designing agent experiences that balance autonomy with user control, including permissions, confirmations, auditability, explainability, and enterprise admin controls.
  • Establishing quality and success metrics for agentic products, including task completion, reliability, latency, cost, safety, trust, adoption, and business impact.
  • Collaborating with design, data, security, privacy, legal, marketing, sales, and customer success to deliver enterprise-grade agent products at scale.
