About The Position

Elastic is expanding its Ecosystem Architects team, focusing on key AI providers like OpenAI and Anthropic. This role is for a builder and architect who will own the technical strategy and relationships with these partners. As a hands-on individual contributor, you will drive co-build strategies through deeper integrations, influence Elastic's product strategy, build prototypes, and shape go-to-market content to help customers leverage frontier intelligence with unstructured data. You will build, manage, and own technical relationships end-to-end, bringing both technical depth and practical experience. The deep integrations with OpenAI and Anthropic are central to how Elastic envisions frontier AI shaping enterprises when applied to unstructured enterprise data. Elasticsearch is designed to solve the retrieval problem for AI agents, and this role will influence critical decisions regarding how Elastic technology integrates with these ecosystems.

Requirements

7+ years in technical presales, partner engineering, solutions architecture, or product management.
Proven experience owning technical relationships with strategic AI or platform partners.
Hands-on experience building prototypes and integration demos.
A track record of influencing product roadmaps and partner priorities.
Strong communication skills across various audiences.
Willingness to travel 30%.

Nice To Haves

Direct experience working with OpenAI and/or Anthropic in a technical capacity.
Familiarity with OpenAI and Anthropic partner programs and integration decision-making processes.
Technical depth in at least one of Elastic's core solution areas: context engineering for AI agents, AI-powered security operations, or AI-powered observability.
Fluency across all three core solution areas is a differentiator.

Responsibilities

Drive technical integration, shape product strategy, and co-create go-to-market content.
Drive the co-build strategy with Elastic's Product team, identifying and prioritizing integrations that deepen partnerships and ensure Elastic's capabilities are integrated with OpenAI and Anthropic.
Serve as Elastic's technical voice within both ecosystems, working closely with partner and product teams at OpenAI and Anthropic.
Build reference architectures and working prototypes demonstrating Elasticsearch as the retrieval layer for agentic AI.
Work with Elastic's Security and Observability product teams to drive integration patterns and showcases.
Influence Elastic's product roadmap based on technical signals gathered from partner ecosystems.
Own the technical and strategic relationships with partner-facing counterparts at OpenAI and Anthropic.
Be Elastic's named point of contact within both partner ecosystems and internally.
Build and manage regular executive-level cadences to align on progress, priorities, and investment.
Keep Elastic's internal teams connected to partner ecosystems and vice versa.
Co-author joint solution briefs, technical guides, and co-branded content.
Represent Elastic at AI-focused partner events, meetups, developer conferences, technical summits, and community forums.
Work with Elastic marketing teams to translate integrations into field enablement.
