About The Position

Be part of a team focused on increasing adoption of Amazon Web Services by developing strategic accounts with the Fortune 2000. This is an opportunity to be a driver in AWS's further representation as a key technology platform provider. As an Greenfield Account Executive you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology. Your responsibilities will include driving revenue, adoption, and market saturation in F2000 accounts, with a large emphasis on accounts with high growth potential. The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive an engagement at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. They should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets.

Requirements

  • Experience in generating new opportunities with strong focus on pipeline tracking and deal execution through entire sales cycle
  • Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects
  • 10+ years of cloud sales experience to enterprise customers
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience engaging with and selling to executive level customers

Nice To Haves

  • Experience across at least one industry vertical (manufacturing, energy, oil & gas, etc.)
  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership, or experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)
  • Experience with AWS technologies

Responsibilities

  • Drive digital transformation through meaningful engagement with C-level executives, IT leaders, architects, developers, and various lines of businesses of your customers.
  • Represent the entire portfolio of AWS products and services across the strategic accounts you manage within the Enterprise customer market segment.
  • Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory or industry vertical
  • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets
  • Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan
  • Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
  • Accelerate customer adoption
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption
  • Manage contract negotiations
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
