About The Position

Act as project manager for regulatory filings, audits and/or special projects. The Revenue Policy function is to plan, coordinate, recommend and support strategies for timely development of filings and responding to informational and audit requests. Perform research and analysis of accounting, tax and financial issues associated with regulatory matters and preparation of executive level presentation materials as necessary. Apply critical analytical skills in the preparation of regulatory filings or strategic analysis including the drafting of testimony and required schedules, responses to discovery (data) requests of regulators and external parties and contributing to the development of filings and briefs related to revenue requirements. Monitor regulatory hearings, proceedings and meetings. Analyze impacts and communicate findings to ComEd departments and other impacted Exelon operating groups. Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other emergencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting or Engineering
• Experience is typically career level (7-10 years) in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.

• Possess a high degree of complex problem solving with solid financial, mathematical and analytical capabilities
• Demonstrated competencies in 1) accountability, 2) collaboration, 3) continuous learning and 4) high performance in ambiguous situations.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage cross functional teams.
• In lieu of degree, 9-12 years of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics; CPA
• Ten or more years of electric utility experience with five or more years experience with regulatory filings.
• Financial modeling skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Act as project manager for regulatory filings, audits and/or special projects.
• Plan, coordinate and manage the implementation of the assigned filing, audit or project.
• Manage activities of the regulatory and multifunctional staff as assigned.
• Perform accounting, tax, financial, economic and other quantitative and qualitative analyses of regulatory matters.
• Coordinate and provide quality assurance in the preparation or drafting of written testimony, regulatory schedules, special regulatory audits and post-filing implementation requirement activities.
• Participate in and/or monitor regulatory hearings, proceedings and meetings.
• Analyze impacts on the company and prepare appropriate reports to management identifying issues and suggesting appropriate actions to address issues raised by commission decisions and rule making.
• Communicate relevant information to regulatory departments and other Exelon departments effected by the regulatory issues.
• Promote and maintain regular relationships with state regulatory agency staff pertaining to the areas of ratemaking, economics and audit.

• Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $107,200.00/Yr. – $147,400.00/Yr.
