About The Position
Recovery Unplugged is seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Therapist to join our cutting-edge PHP/IOP Substance Abuse Treatment Program. Our innovative approach integrates music therapy to help break down defenses and engage clients in their treatment, inspiring sustained recovery. Requirements
- Master's Degree in a health-related field from an accredited institution.
- Prior experience in a healthcare or counseling setting, with substance abuse/mental health experience preferred.
- Strong ability to connect with clients and demonstrate empathy and understanding in challenging situations.
- A passion for music and a deep commitment to making a difference in the lives of individuals struggling with addiction.
Responsibilities
- Provide group, individual, and family therapy as directed by the Clinical Director/Manager.
- Collaborate with the Treatment Team to develop and implement the Master Treatment Plan for each patient.
- Assist in discharge planning and ensure smooth transitions for clients.
- Maintain consistent communication with referral sources and provide necessary follow-up care.
- Support clients through their treatment journey, fostering an environment of healing and recovery.
