The Primary Therapist provides individual, group, and family therapy to adolescents ages 11–17 in a structured residential treatment program in Kingsland, Georgia. The program treats complex behavioral and mental health needs, including self-harm, suicidal ideation, trauma-related disorders, mood instability, depression, anxiety, aggression, behavioral dysregulation, and substance use disorders. Therapists manage caseloads of adolescents in 3–6 month treatment episodes and provide evidence-based interventions in collaboration with a multidisciplinary treatment team. In addition to direct clinical services, the role supports milieu management, crisis intervention, and a safe, structured, therapeutic residential environment. The therapist helps stabilize clients, encourage treatment engagement, and support long-term recovery. The role suits clinicians who are adaptable, creative, and comfortable exercising clinical judgment and therapeutic leadership in a dynamic residential setting. Clinical supervision is available for eligible associate-level clinicians pursuing independent licensure.
