About The Position

The primary therapist provides mental health diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and mental health therapies for persons with mental illness. Treatment is provided in the context of a clinical team, supervised by the staff psychiatrist. Provide superior customer service.

Requirements

Masters Degree in Human Services field required.
LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LCAT, LMFT or permit holder in one of these professions required.
Limited permit or license required within 1 year of hire.

Nice To Haves

Two years of mental health experience preferred.
New Graduates: Official transcript from accredited school or letter emailed directly from the school’s registrar’s office confirming program completion will be accepted upon graduation.
Primary source education verification required within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

Provides initial and ongoing assessment, counseling and clinical intervention to a designated caseload.
Provides individual, group, and family psychotherapy.
Participates functionally as a member of an interdisciplinary team in coordination and delivery of patient care.
Communicates with relevant internal and external care providers to complete ongoing assessment and to coordinate care.
Participates in and incorporates professional supervision and ongoing education toward quality care.
Completes all required documentation in a timely and comprehensive manner.
Maintains a full caseload, meeting productivity requirements and seeks to keep the incidence of failed appointments to a minimum.
Utilizes efficient computer skills for electronic documentation.
Must obtain licensure or permit in a timely manner.
For ACT Program Only: Primary resource for team on integrating vocational goals and services with other team members.
For Child and Youth Services Only: Off-site and in-home delivery of services to clients and families.
