We are looking for a Licensed Primary Therapist in Tennessee who will work closely with clients to determine their rehabilitation needs and to provide individualized treatment by providing structured as well as holistic healing. Supports clients with foundational well-being that develops the skills needed to overcome, heal & grow to sustain long-term sobriety. The Primary Therapist is responsible for performing a wide variety of patient care activities as directed by the Executive Director. He/she will be responsible for the patient caseload and will provide group, individual, and family therapy. The Primary Therapist will conduct psychosocial and bio-psychosocial assessments. The Primary Therapist has primary responsibility for maintaining communication with the family, referral source, and other service providers as needed. The Primary Therapist serves as a key member of the clinical team, providing comprehensive therapeutic services to individuals experiencing substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Reporting to the Clinical Director (or Executive Director, as applicable), the therapist is responsible for managing an assigned caseload and delivering high-quality individual, group, and family therapy within an integrated treatment model. This role includes conducting psychosocial and biopsychosocial assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and providing ongoing clinical support, crisis intervention, and care coordination. The Primary Therapist maintains primary communication with families, referral sources, and external service providers as needed to support continuity of care. As a cornerstone of both the substance use and mental health programs, the Primary Therapist fosters healing, resilience, and personal growth by delivering trauma-informed, evidence-based care. Through collaboration, clinical excellence, and holistic support, this role plays a vital part in helping clients achieve stability, recovery, and improved overall well-being.
