About The Position

Family First Adolescent Services is expanding and seeking to add a new member to its clinical team. The organization utilizes a relational and developmental approach with clients and families, while also supporting staff development through various training opportunities, including full coverage for NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) clinical training and other personally selected trainings. As a Primary Therapist, you will be part of a compassionate and motivated interdisciplinary treatment team, working with clients who present with a variety of mental health, substance use, and behavioral disorders. The focus is on considering the entire family as the client and facilitating healing for each member.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in a Psychology-related field (Required)
  • Licensure (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT)
  • Proficient documentation skills and experience with EMR systems (Kipu)

Nice To Haves

  • Professional treatment experience in a residential facility setting (Experience with adolescents preferred but not required)
  • Advanced training in trauma therapy models such as Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, NARM, TRE, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Create treatment plans.
  • Facilitate weekly trauma-informed individual counseling.
  • Conduct family therapy.
  • Lead group coaching sessions.
  • Teach psychoeducational material to support the healing process for adolescents and their families.
