About The Position

The Primary Therapist at WE LEVEL UP is responsible for delivering high-quality therapeutic services to clients, focusing on mental health and substance abuse treatment. This role involves conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing ongoing therapy to support clients in their recovery journey. The Primary Therapist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and optimal outcomes for clients.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • CPR Certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a therapeutic setting, preferably in a mental health or substance abuse treatment environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
  • Experience in conducting individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions.
  • Strong understanding of mental health disorders and therapeutic techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all professional interactions.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt treatment approaches based on client needs and progress.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to helping clients achieve their therapeutic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet changing needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and case conferences to discuss client progress and treatment strategies.
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed and develop safety plans for clients at risk.
  • Educate clients and families about mental health and substance use disorders, treatment options, and coping strategies.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mental health and addiction treatment to enhance service delivery.
