About The Position

Join the NVFS Family: We are looking to hire a Primary Teacher to join the NVFS Early Childhood Education team! At NVFS, our Early Head Start (EHS) program supports infants, toddlers, and families during the most critical years of development. We are hiring a Primary Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and developmentally responsive classroom for children ages birth to three. Requirements

• Current CDA in Infant Toddler Development
• Oral and written fluency in English; bilingual language skills a plus
• Digital and technical proficiency, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Must be able to demonstrate and live the organizational values of Communication, Integrity, Respect, Collaboration, and Accountability
• Successful completion of background checks, TB test and physical upon hire
• Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules and policy and procedures manuals
• Attendance reliability
• Must be able to lift a child up to 40 pounds
• Must be comfortable coming into contact with sick children and taking care of toileting demands of children

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
