About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Primary School Teacher to provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students in pre-k through elementary school. This role involves assisting students with homework, test preparation, and utilizing effective teaching strategies to engage and motivate them. The ideal candidate will monitor student progress, provide feedback, and collaborate with teachers to align tutoring with classroom curriculum. A safe and supportive learning environment is essential, and the ability to commute reliably from client to client is required. Flexible work-from-home options are available.

Requirements

At least 5 years of education experience working with toddlers
Previous experience working with students, preferably in a preschool setting or with early childhood education
Available from 2-4pm Monday - Friday and on Saturdays between 10am-12pm
Knowledge of various teaching methods and techniques
Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers
Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
Must be able to work at our storefront location in the Broward Mall in Plantation, FL.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students in pre-k through elementary school in Reading/Writing, Mathematics, History/Social Studies, and Science.
Assist students with homework assignments and test preparation.
Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage and motivate students.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback in session reports to admin, parents/guardians, and teachers.
Collaborate with classroom teachers to align tutoring sessions with classroom curriculum.
Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
Reliably commute from client to client.
