Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician
About The Position
As a Primary Care Sports Medicine physician at Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. Our integrated Sports Medicine team uses state-of-the-art techniques, advanced procedures, and innovative therapies to design treatment plans that are customized to our patients’ specific needs and address the full continuum of care. As a Primary Care Sports Medicine physician in Las Vegas, you will build a practice and presence in the community. We anticipate you seeing predominantly adult patients, but an opportunity to treat patients of all ages for acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, sports-related concussions, and procedures, including diagnostic ultrasound and ultrasound-guided injections and orthopedic biologics (PRP). In this role you can anticipate Practicing in two clinic locations in Las Vegas, NV Strong collaboration with our joint venture orthopedic group (Crovetti Orthopedics and Sports Medicine) Providing care for the Las Vegas Raiderettes Performing advanced injection techniques, platelet rich plasma, nerve blocks, diagnostic ultrasound, etc.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
- Sports Medicine fellowship trained
- Board certification or eligibility in Primary Care Sports Medicine and Board Certification in Family Medicine
- Active, unobstructed Nevada medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
- Not able to accept candidates requiring Visa sponsorship at this time
