Primary Care RN or LPN
About The Position
Our Primary Care Nurse is a newly created role for the clinics. In this position the nurse will work closely with the Providers and manage triage calls/messages for the clinic. They will have the option to move hybrid after training is complete. LPN Qualifications: Education: Diploma in Practical Nursing Licensure: Active LPN license Experience: 2-3 years of experience preferred RN Qualifications: Education : Associate of Applied Science in Registered Nursing, Graduation from registered nursing program, bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN), OR 4 years of commensurate experience in lieu of the bachelor’s degree Licensure: Active RN license Experience: 2-3 years of experience preferred
Requirements
- Diploma in Practical Nursing (for LPN)
- Active LPN license (for LPN)
- 2-3 years of LPN experience preferred
- Associate of Applied Science in Registered Nursing, Graduation from registered nursing program, bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN), OR 4 years of commensurate experience in lieu of the bachelor’s degree (for RN)
- Active RN license (for RN)
- 2-3 years of RN experience preferred
- Proficiency with Epic EMR system.
- Timely and thorough patient triage skills.
- Computer competency (most of this position will be computer work).
- Excellent time management and prioritization.
- Adaptability in a new and changing environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage triage calls/messages for the clinic.
- Work closely with Providers.
