About The Position

The West Virginia University Health System, the state’s largest health system and largest private employer, comprises 18 hospitals throughout the state and bordering states. In addition, it includes five institutes, as well as providing management services for other local hospitals through affiliate agreements. WVUHS Medical Group seeks a Primary Care Physician. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in the primary location of Charleston, WV. This is an Outpatient-only clinical practice with no hospital rounding, an employed physician model with administrative support, a modern, fully equipped clinic setting, a collaborative, team-based care environment, and an established patient panel available from day one. Requirements

Applicants must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent
Be eligible to obtain state medical license
Successful Candidate must have completed a Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med-Peds residency program
Successful Candidate must be board certified/eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Med-Peds
All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment
